The Dreaded Boob Light
We've made it to September! Can you believe the holidays are almost here. Soon it will be a time for gatherings & celebrations. One thing that won't be celebrated when guests arrive is the "Dreaded BOOB LIGHT"! Now is a prime time to change the boobs out for something more idea. By making this simple change, your home can have an entirely different look and feel.
I used to be part of that club, boobs hanging from our ceilings in the hallways & even in a bedroom! Sometimes we hang on to things simply because we don't know what other options are available. I've done my design research to find some awesome replacements at every price point.
Small Changes
If you haven't made any updates to your home in a while, I suggest small changes first. After we updated our closet, next on our list were upgrading the light fixtures, door handles & hinges. I purchased these from Wayfair.
Hughesdale Flush Mount
Simple & clean, I used this style in our upstairs hallway. It was a glorious day when they were installed. Two Boob Lights down, but we had more that needed to go!
Isiah Flush Mount
Even though we didn't have a Boob Light in our laundry room, a much uglier community center fluorescent light had to be replaced. I used this style in a Semi-Flush Mount version. This light is so much better & brighter!
Glass Flush Mount
I found this little lovely on Wayfair. It's definitely a better version of the "Boob Light" & it's so affordable.
